Big Tent: Rachel Broenkow, Matt Hyde and Katherine Nuernberger
Rachel Broenkow is a Washington State transplant working toward her MFA in Poetry at the University of Kansas. She plans to travel the world in her 1999 Camry with her Chihuahua, Molly, after she graduates.
Matt Hyde is a five-time college drop out and has worked as a gravedigger, roadie, cashier, truck unloader, stockboy and Sunday newspaper insert inserter. Currently he is a partner and manager of both 715 Restaurant and Ladybird Diner in Lawrence. He attended the same high school as David Hasselhoff.
Kathryn Nuernberger is the author of the poetry collections Rag & Bone (Elixir, 2011) and The End of Pink (BOA Editions, 2016). She is an assistant professor of Creative Writing at University of Central Missouri, where she also serves as the director of Pleiades Press.
