October Big Tent // Hedeman and Roitman and Wasserstein

Join us for a Big Tent reading featuring Jackie Hedeman, Judy Roitman, and Izzy Wasserstein.

Jackie Hedeman is a Midwesterner and a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur. She received her MFA from The Ohio State University. Jackie's nonfiction has appeared in Electric Literature, Autostraddle, The Best American Travel Writing 2017, The Offing, 1966, and elsewhere. Find her on Twitter @JackieHedeman.

Judith Roitman grew up a New Yorker, moved to California, and landed in Lawrence KS where she’s been more than half her life. She has published in a number of fine venues, including Rogue Agent, Galataea Resurrects, E.Ratio, The Writing Disorder, Otoliths, Eleven Eleven, Horse Less Review, Talisman and YEW, has a book No Face (First Intensity Press), and a number of chapbooks (including Provisional, to appear in early 2019). Her book Roswell (from theenk books) is so hot off the press that she’s hoping copies arrive in time for this reading. You can find her at judith roitman.blogspot.com.

Izzy Wasserstein was born and raised in northeast Kansas. She writes poetry and fiction, and is the author of the poetry collections This Ecstasy They Call Damnation and When Creation Falls. She shares a home with the writer Nora E. Derrington and several animal companions.
