Big Tent Reading: Jason Baltazar, Jeanetta Calhoun Mish, and Alexis Renee Smith
Jason Baltazar is originally from the Appalachian corner of Maryland. He currently lives in LFK as one third of an equilateral love triangle with his wife and cat. His work has been nominated for the Pushcart and has most recently appeared in Metaphorosis Magazine and The Future Fire.
Jeanetta Calhoun Mish is a poet, writer and literary scholar; in 2009, she earned her Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She is the current poet laureate of Oklahoma.
Alexis Renee Smith received her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Colorado in 2015. Of course, before that she received her BA in English from the University of Kansas. In the last few years she has lived in Boulder, Denver, and Atlanta. She recently returned to Kansas and is glad to be home. It is important to know that Alexis has two small dogs named Gretel and Arthur. As for her writing, it has appeared in DREGINALD, the Denver Poetry Map, and possibly other places.
