Big Tent: Charlotte Seley, Max Sutton, Bogi Takács

The Raven's monthly Big Tent Series returns with a reading featuring Charlotte Seley, Max Sutton, and Bogi Takács!

Max Keith Sutton was born in 1937 and raised in Madison County, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas and received his Ph. D. in English from Duke University. From 1964 to 2003 he taught English at the University of Kansas, specializing in Victorian literature with books on W. S. Gilbert, R. D. Blackmore, and T. E. Brown. His new book is Extraditing a Blue-Tailed Skink.

Charlotte Seley is a writer and poet from the Hudson Valley region of New York, currently residing in Kansas City. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College and her BA with a concentration in Creative Writing from Eugene Lang College of the New School for Liberal Arts. Her first collection of poetry, The World is My Rival, is forthcoming from Spuyten Duyvil Press.
